The Challenge +
Project Overview
This project looks to reclaim that lost momentum by re-imagining Paradise as a small community. It proposes a return to growth through farming, tapping into the contemporary revival of homesteading and self-sufficiency. The homes are modest in scale, designed as small dwellings set within large, workable plots of land. While forward-looking in its social and agricultural ambitions, the project remains rooted in the town’s railroad history. Form, materiality, and function quietly echo the infrastructure that once defined Paradise.
